If Pickleball isn’t enough.
Now, so the sociopathetic lame gamers have invented another geezer-like time waster. Corn hole. Let’s finish with Pickleball first. Just between you and me, Pickleball is 90-percent social and 10-percent skill. It’s an excuse to just hold a paddle and look semi-athletic while talking to the widow lady you just slammed. But first, whatever happened to racquetball or handball? Both played on a half-court and inside. But played with a livelier rubber ball. Maybe too fast for seniors. Instead of a Wiffle ball. Just take out the rubber ball and replace with a Wiffle. However the ping-pang noise the Wiffle produces would be deafening inside a four walled court. Maybe the video gamer PONG can improve the game and reduce the noise.
But anyway there is yet another half baked game suited for oldsters. It’s called “Corn hole.” A bag-tossing game. Toss the bag filled with dried corn like stuff inside and hit a hole on a wooden slanted board. Corn hole is the big rage. Never mind if you are old and with poor depth perception. A corn hole set can cost up to 250-dollars and is heavy to handle and setup. But once it’s in place try as you might to hit the hole with the corn bag. I like the slam-dunk method. Just walk up to the corn hole board and stuff it in. Cool huh?
